The UNI u18s have a home game this week vs Balgownie, 10am KO. Bally are sitting equal top on the table with 7 points, while the UNI u18s have 6 points. It should be a great game and hopefully the UNI lads can work their way up the ladder.

Below is the match report from last week.

Match Report  –  Sunday 28.04.18.

University U18 (Sen) vs South Coast United.

A good start to the season saw the Uni 18-Seniors sitting on top of the table after 2 rounds.  This week’s game against second placed South Coast United therefore promised to be a close one.

South Coast started the game strongly and Uni spent a good part of the first half spoiling their attacks whilst still countering with some promising forays of their own.  Brave goalkeeping by Tim Hansen and resolute defending at the back resulted in the game being level 0-0 at half time.

The second half was more of an end-to-end affair with both teams pressing for the goal that would win it.  Uni looked to have the better of the half but unfortunately South Coast grabbed a goal.

Despite the loss it was a great effort from the team this week. The players showed more grit and determination than previous games and just need to improve their passing and ball security to get to the next level.
