UOWFC Life member Eric Thompson passed away on Friday June 5, aged 76. Eric was the first officially appointed coach of UOWFC (or UWSC as it was known back then) in the early 70’s. He started with uni around 1974, and coached up until the early eighties. After leaving Uni, Eric went on to coach Balgownie, Tarrawanna, Cringila, and Wollongong Olympic.

Eric will be dearly missed by many, and will always be a Uni Football Legend.

Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral service at Parsons Funeral Home, Bulli, from 12 noon Thursday 18/6.
